Following a major flood that caused extensive water damage throughout the central kitchen and bar area of this popular and busy central Auckland restaurant, Skyline Projects was brought on board to help with its complete refurbishment. We also worked closely with the building owner and restaurant owners to help out with the insurance claims for both parties.
Initially we carried a thorough investigation to discover the reason behind the flooding, then we worked on a permanent solution to fix the problem. With agreement from Vivace, the restaurant was shutdown to allow Skyline Projects to carry out a complete refurbishment of the kitchen and bar area. With a strict timeline in place, we completed the work on time, which allowed the restaurant to re-open ahead of the British Lions vs All Blacks game. This allowed the restaurant to deliver on its bookings that had taken place months before the incident.
